I'm not sure why but green bottles on my windowsill are screaming out the time.
This is a list:
S. Pellegrino, one
Perrier, one glass; one plastic
Ballatore, one
Vampire, one
Reed's Ginger Beer, three
can I remember their stories?
S. Pellegrino, purchased on the last summer night with my friends; a small glass bottle that contrasted with T's large bottle that he finished before me. That boy loves water. Afterwards, I developed a taste for sparkling water which I continued on my travels abroad.
Perrier, stories forgotten, no wait, the platic one is from Au Bon Pain at the train station. I purchased it to benefit my collection, but I was traveling and didn't want to worry about glass. Glass bottle came first.
Ballatore, a sparkling wine purchased at my request along with other beverages of an alcoholic nature; completed on a night of celebration, very good, depleted by two very fast.
Vampire, strangely enough a white wine deriving from Transylvania and a product of Romania was also purchased with the Ballatore; completed around Halloween for its thematic nature, harsh wine led to a tipsy time.
Reed's, all three purchased from local cafe and consumed at different times; continuing story as the first time I consumed a Reed's (not one of the three) I was around twelve years old visiting my mother and I was hooked on the stuff from that time after, intense ginger flavor with a warm and cold sensation if chilled.
this week: filled with flowers, recharge my soul.
Sometimes it seems like we're all living in some kind of prison. And the crime is how much we hate ourselves. It's good to get really dressed up once in a while. And admit the truth: that when you really look closely? People are so strange and so complicated that they're actually... beautiful. Possibly even me.
-Angela Chase, "My So Called Life"
from my favorite cult classic television show.
footnote/sidenote: television seems like a very french word.
